Description

Grove Farm Cottages is a timber-frame building from the 16th and 17th centuries, rendered and featuring a later low-pitched pantile roof with gabled ends. The structure is L-shaped and has two storeys. The north-east wing is a 16th-century hall house, which includes a full-height 6-light mullion window that has been divided due to the insertion of a floor. The other windows in the building are 19th-century and modern casements. There is an internal brick stack on the east end. The south-west wing, dating from the 17th century, has two diamond-section mullion windows and a rebuilt brick stack. The building has been altered and modernised over time.
