Description

The Maid's Head is a 17th century timber-frame house that was formerly a public house. It features roughcast end walls that are brick faced and has a later lower pitched pantiled roof. The building is two storeys high and has 19th century and modern casement windows. There is a brick chimney stack located near the east end of the house, and a modern single storey wing has been added to the southeast. Inside, the property has stop-chamfered ceiling beams.
