Description

Locks Pyghtle is a 17th century timber-frame house located on Mill Road in Thorpe Abbotts. The house is rendered and features a thatched roof with gabled ends. It has a central brick chimney stack with lozenge-shaped shafts, which are also rendered. The building is one storey with an attic, and the eaves sweep over the attic windows. It is two windows wide and has modern casements with glazing bars. There is a late one storey wing at the west end of the house, which has a pantile roof.
