Description
Saffron Cottage is a late 17th century cottage with a plastered timber-frame and a thatched roof featuring gabled ends. The building has one storey and an attic. On the ground floor, there are two original mullion and transom casements with glazing bars, along with a central panelled door. A modern gabled dormer has been added, and there is a brick chimney stack at the south end. Additionally, there is a modern extension on the south end, which has a thatched roof that matches the original.
