Description

Grove Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed house with a roughcast exterior. It features a steep gable-ended roof covered with new interlocking tiles and has a large central brick chimney stack. The building stands two storeys high and includes two windows, which are 19th century three-light casements with glazing bars. There is a modern central gabled porch. To the left (north) is a 17th century gabled wing, also roughcast, with a steep pantile roof. Inside, there is a brick chamfered Tudor-arch fireplace, chamfered beams, and the remains of an original window with ovolo moulded mullions.
