Description

The Old Post Office is a building that likely dates from the 17th century. It features a plastered timber frame and has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. The structure is one storey high with an attic. It includes modern and 19th-century casement windows, as well as modern dormers with flat roofs. There is a wing at the east end that forms an L-shaped plan, which was added in the mid-19th century. This wing is two storeys tall, constructed of roughcast clay lump, and has a pantile roof along with 19th-century and modern casements.
