Description

Firtree Farmhouse is probably of early 18th century origin, although it may contain an earlier core. The farmhouse is constructed with plastered walls and brick end walls featuring blue headers, with parapeted gables. It has a steep pantile roof with gabled ends. The building is two storeys and has an attic, with three windows visible from the front. The first-floor windows are four-light casements, with a two-light casement in the centre. The first-floor windows likely date to the 18th century, while the ground-floor windows are from the 19th century. A central glazed door provides access to the interior. Three new gabled dormers have been added to the roof. Brick chimney stacks are situated at each end of the building.
