Description

White House Farmhouse is a building that likely dates from the 17th century. It features a timber-frame structure with a 19th-century painted brick front. The farmhouse has a very steep gable-ended roof covered with pantiles and consists of two storeys plus an attic. There are two casement windows on the first floor, with modern windows, and an attic window located in the gable end. A modern gabled porch is positioned on the right side, and there is a brick chimney stack near the end of the building. Additionally, there is a wing on the east end that may be from the 19th or 18th century. The farmhouse was formerly known as Blackboard Farm.
