Description

This is a 16th and 17th century house that has been converted into three separate dwellings: Little Manor, Middle Manor, and The Manor House. The house is built using a timber-frame construction with plaster, flint, and brick dressings. It has a tiled roof with gabled ends. The house is arranged in an "E" shape, with projecting gabled cross wings at each end, and a two-storey gabled porch extending from the centre. The windows are mainly sash windows and modern casements, some with glazing bars. There are two large stepped chimney stacks at the rear, while the other chimney stacks are Victorian additions. The interior of Little Manor, located at the south end of the building, contains stop-chamfered spine beams. The roof of the cross wing exhibits collar and wind braces. Remains of a moat are visible to the north of the house.
