Description
The brewhouse and attached outbuilding at Cavick House is an early 18th-century structure that has been significantly altered in 1945. It is constructed of brick and flint with a machine tile roof and features a two-storey east front. There is a former segmental-headed carriage arch to the right of the center that has been filled in and converted into a door. The first floor has four 20th-century top-hung casements. The building has a gabled roof with a platband on the south gable, and the gable head was rebuilt in 1945. Each floor, including the attic, has one 20th-century casement. There is a central single-storey hipped extension to the west, two hipped dormers in the roof, and a stack serving a wall fireplace. To the west, there is a length of 19th-century brick wall that incorporates another hipped one-storey outbuilding. This structure is included for its group value.
