Description

The Baptist Chapel is a late 18th-century building constructed of colour-washed brick, with some parts plastered. It features a hipped roof covered in black glazed pantiles and has two storeys of windows. The west side has two bays, while the south side has three bays, all with sash windows that include glazing bars. The west side also has a pilastered doorcase on the left, which is topped with an entablature that has a reeded frieze and cornice, leading to a panelled door. The south side has central double doors with a drip moulding above. Inside, there is a gallery on the south, west, and east sides supported by slim columns, along with later benches. A school wing was added to the north-west in 1904.
