Description

These are a range of 17th-century timber-frame cottages. The external walls are plastered, and the roofs have steep gables covered in pantiles. The cottages are one storey high with an attic space. Later 19th-century casement windows are set into the walls, along with modern replacements. Three dormers with casements are visible, each with a wedge shape. A plank door and a glazed door provide access. Two brick chimney stacks rise from the ridge of the roof. A two-storey cross wing, built in the late 19th century, extends from the south end, constructed of buff-coloured brick and featuring a gabled pantile roof and sash windows.
