Description

Old Forge Cottage is a 17th-century timber-frame house, later altered and faced with plaster and brick. The roof is steep, covered with pantiles, and features gabled ends. A brick chimney stack is positioned off-centre. The house has two storeys and an attic, with an attic window visible in one of the gable ends. Windows are a mix of 18th-century, 19th-century, and modern casements. A 19th-century brick single-storey lean-to has been added to the east front.
