Description

Freston House is a 17th to 18th century building located on Mendham Low Road in Harleston. It is stuccoed with a pantile roof featuring gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. The façade has four widely spaced windows, with the left side featuring three-light wood mullion casements that have glazing bars, while the right side has three-light sashes. A central gabled porch with an arched doorway is adorned with 19th-century pierced and shaped bargeboards, which are also present on the gable ends of the rain roof. Additionally, there is a large brick chimney stack on one end of the house.
