Description

The Homestead, formerly known as the Bell Inn, is a red brick house dating from 1806. It features a pantile roof with coped gable ends and brick dentil eaves. The building is two storeys high and has three windows, which are sashes with glazing bars. The ground floor windows have rubbed brick arches above them. There is a central doorway that has a moulded architrave doorcase and a panelled door, with a modern door inserted alongside it. At each end of the house, there is a brick chimney stack. The datestone on the gable end facing the road reads "1806 P Finch."
