Description
World's End Farmhouse is a late 16th century to early 17th century timber-framed house that has been plastered. It features a steep gable-ended roof covered with black glazed pantiles. The north-west end gable and the first floor are jettied. There is an off-centre brick chimney stack with lozenge-shaped flues, as well as another brick stack on the south-east end. The house has two storeys and an attic, with an attic window located in the gable end. It has three windows, which include early 19th century and modern casements. A modern brick porch is situated in front of the off-centre chimney stack. There is a lower small wing on the south-east end, which is also plastered and has a gable-ended pantile roof. The ground floor window on the north-west end features an ovolo moulded mullion. Inside, the ground floor room at the north-west end has a roll moulded ceiling beam, while the south-east room has a chamfered ceiling beam.
