Description

Rose Cottage is a late 17th century cottage, with a coin dated 1690 found embedded in the daub. It features a timber-frame construction that is rendered, topped with a steep pantile roof that has gabled ends. The cottage is one storey with an attic and has modern casement windows with glazing bars. There is an external brick stack located at the south end, and modern lean-tos have been added at each end. Inside, the cottage has chamfered beams and exposed timber-framing.
