Description

Valley Farmhouse is a late 16th century to early 17th century timber-frame house that was encased in red brick during the late 19th century. It features a steep black glazed pantile roof with gabled ends and an off-centre brick chimney stack that has four octagonal flues with moulded bases. The building has two storeys and an attic, with attic windows located in the gable ends. There are four widely spaced windows, which are 19th century three-light casements with keyblocked heads. A 19th century door is positioned in front of the chimney stack. Inside, the farmhouse has stopped and chamfered ceiling beams.
