Description

Lion Cottage is an early 19th-century red brick house featuring a nipped black glazed pantile roof. The building stands two storeys high and has three bays. It includes sash windows with vertical glazing bars and flat rubbed brick arches. The central doorcase is adorned with a reeded architrave and a panelled and glazed door. To the left, there is a late 19th-century summerhouse that projects from the main structure. This summerhouse is designed in a gothic style, constructed from buff and red brick, and features gables and finials, rusticated brick quoins, and a guilloche pattern around the windows and door.
