Description

Valley Farmhouse is a 17th-century timber-frame house. It has been rendered on the exterior. The roof was heightened in the 19th century and is covered with pantiles, featuring gabled ends. The house has two storeys and two widely-spaced windows, with 19th-century casement windows. A central 19th-century porch with a stepped gable is present. Internal brick chimney stacks are located at each end of the building. An 18th- or 19th-century wing extends from the east end and has a hipped roof. The interior retains some exposed timber framing and chamfered ceiling beams.
