Description
Eagle Farmhouse is a red brick house built around 1850. It features a low pitched black-glazed pantile roof with coped gable ends and a dentilled eaves cornice. The building has brick pilasters and is two storeys high with three windows that have sashes and glazing bars. The lintels above the windows have keyblocks, and there is a central doorway that is round-headed with a glazed door and fanlight. To the right (east) end of the house is a 17th-century gabled cross-wing, which is timber-framed and faced with brick. This wing is one storey and has an attic, with one window and round-headed sashes on the first floor and in the attic. Inside the 17th-century wing, there is exposed timber-framing with close studding and a ceiling beam that has carved stops.
