Description

Barclays Bank is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Hingham Market Place. It is constructed of red brick and features a pantile hipped roof. The eaves cornice is supported by small paired brackets. The building is two storeys high, with three sash windows featuring glazing bars on the first floor. The ground floor has a Victorian shop front that includes three central windows with cambered heads, flanked by round-headed doorways on either side. Each doorway has a semi-circular fanlight above and a moulded cornice that extends over the entire front. The doors are modern.
