Description

Ivy Farmhouse is a 17th century timber-framed house located on the north-west side of High Road in Needham. The house features plastered end walls that are faced with brick. It has a later low-pitched gable-ended roof covered with black glazed pantiles. There are two brick chimney stacks, one off-centre and another at the south-east end of the building. The house is two storeys high and has a long range with irregularly and widely spaced casement windows; the ground floor windows are from the 19th century, while the first-floor windows are modern. There are also two 19th-century doors. The building is positioned at right angles to the road.
