Description
The stables, located 15 metres northwest of Priory House, are a stable block that has been converted into a garage. They date from the early 18th century and are constructed with a timber frame that has an added brick skin and infill. The building has pantile roofs and is designed in an L-shape, with a single storey. There are two double timber carriage doors at the angles between the blocks, providing access to the interiors of both sections. The roofs are gabled, with the south wing featuring a brick-shaped gable. Inside, there is fragmented timber framing, particularly in the northeast block, and the roofs were replaced in the 20th century. The stables are included for their group value with Priory House.
