Description

York House is a house located on Middleton Street in Wymondham. It is probably from the 18th century but has an early 19th-century brick exterior. The building is made of brick and has a roof covered with black glazed pantiles. It is two storeys tall and features three bays. The central door is panelled and has a five-vaned fanlight above it, set beneath a gauged round arch. There are two sash windows on each floor, with glazing bars, and the ground floor windows have gauged skewback arches. The roof is gabled and has internal gable-end stacks. The south-east gable and the rear cross wing are rendered and colourwashed. The interior has not been inspected.
