Description
This is a late 18th-century dovecote that is now disused and in a ruinous state. It has a square shape, constructed from uncoursed flints with brick dressings, a brick plinth, and a dogtooth cornice. The roof is hipped and covered with black glazed pantiles, featuring a central wooden glover. There is a low door on the west side and slatted openings on the south and west sides. Inside, the north and east walls have three low arches at the base and nine rows of brick nest holes, with twelve holes per row. Most of the nesting boxes on the south and west sides have fallen.
