Description
Sidney House Farmhouse is a 17th-century house that was built in two phases and has been altered over time. It is constructed of flint with brick dressings and has a hipped Belgian tile roof sloping to the south. The facade features five bays and is two storeys high. The windows include 19th and 20th-century casements, with quoins located between the second and third bays. There is a 20th-century gabled porch situated between the third and fourth bays, and a bay window with a sash in the fourth bay. Evidence suggests there were earlier openings on the upper floor, which now has four casements, with a fifth opening blocked and overgrown with vegetation. The house has two axial stacks, and the right-hand gable features French windows, while there is also a sash window on the first floor.
