Description
Hall Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 18th century, with an earlier core. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The building has a three-cell plan and includes 19th-century outshuts at the rear. The facade is two storeys high and consists of three bays. It has a galleted flint plinth and tripartite sash windows with glazing bars and horns. The central door has six panels, with the upper four being glazed, and is framed by a surround with fluted pilasters, decorative foliage on the fascia, and a flat hood. The ground floor openings have flat rubbed brick heads, while the upper floor features segmental arches. A timber cornice runs along the top, and the roof has parapet gables with a steep pitch. There are paired square chimney stacks at the gable ends. The right-hand gable wall has a flint plinth and two 20th-century windows on the ground floor, along with two attic lights. The left-hand gable shows remains of tumbling-in.
