Description
Hall Farmhouse is a house that likely dates from the 17th century and was remodeled in the late 18th century. It is constructed of flint with brick and stone dressings, featuring a concrete tile roof and a glazed black pantile roof on a later wing. The building has a rectangular plan and includes a lower two-storey, single-bay 19th-century wing at the front, forming an L shape, along with a 20th-century extension at the rear.
The farmhouse has three bays and stands two storeys high, with a flint plinth. The left-hand ground floor features a 20th-century casement window set under a flat arch, while the other openings are under segmental arches. There is a central 20th-century door, and to the right-hand bay, there is a sash window with glazing bars. The ground floor of the right-hand gable wall has stone quoins, and the first floor features two 20th-century casements and one sash window with glazing bars. The building is finished with a brick dentil eaves cornice and has gable end stacks. An external stair is located on the right-hand gable wall, which has a blocked light.
