Description

The remains of the Church of St Thomas, located south-east of Thorpland Hall, date from the 14th and 15th centuries. The ruins consist of only part of the south-west corner, which stands approximately 15 feet high, along with the foundations of the south wall further east. The structure is built of flint with ashlar quoins, but little detail survives. The church was originally designed with aisles and did not have a tower.
