Description

Three Horseshoes House is an 18th-century former public house, situated on North Walsham Road in Scottow. Constructed of brick with a thatched roof, the building is two storeys high and has three bays. A platband of moulded brick runs along the facade. A 20th-century verandah extends across the front of the building. The windows are square-headed casements, those on the ground floor set within segmental arches. A central entrance features a four-panelled door with a plain door surround. Gable end stacks are visible. Kneelers are present at the gable ends, with a moulded brick base. A string-course runs along the gables, between the second storey and the attic. A single-storey canted bay extension adjoins the left-hand gable wall, featuring brick attached columns to the exterior angles.
