Description

This is a 3-bay threshing barn located 40 meters southwest of The Beeches, dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of brick and flint, topped with a thatched roof. Both sides feature full-height opposing double doors. The lower part of the walls is made of flint, while the upper part is brick. The barn has a gabled roof with gable heads that include tumbling and burnt brick headers. Inside, the roof structure consists of tie beams on arched braces, principals with two tiers of taper-tenoned butt purlins, and two tiers of collars, with windbracing over the entrances.
