Description
Swafield House is a late 18th-century house located on Bradfield Road in Swafield. It is constructed of colourwashed brick and features a roof made of green pantiles. The building stands three storeys tall and is arranged in four bays. A panelled door is situated to the right of centre, beneath a five-vaned fanlight. The house has sash windows with glazing bars, which are set beneath segmental heads. A timber eaves cornice with an egg and dart string course is located below triple consoles. The roof is hipped and bell-based, with two stacks positioned on the north and south slopes. On either side of the main elevation, there are swept walls that conceal single-storey extensions built against the returns, each of which is accessed through a round-headed doorway.
