Description
New Hall is a house built around 1830, constructed from gault brick and topped with slate roofs. It stands two storeys high with a south front featuring three bays, where the centre bay projects forward. The central entrance has a 20th-century glazed door set in the original window opening. The windows are sash style, with glazing bars and gauged skewback arches; the lower windows are tripartite and have sash hoods, while the upper ones include shutters. The building has a modillion eaves cornice and a hipped roof.
To the south-east, there is a canted return that forms the principal entrance, which features a panelled door with panelled reveals behind an Ionic portico porch. The west front has two bays defined by pilaster strips, with tripartite sashes on each floor, also featuring glazing bars, gauged skewback arches, and sash hoods. The modillion eaves cornice continues along this front. A two-storey, three-bay service wing extends to the north, with sash windows that have glazing bars beneath gauged skewback arches and shutters, topped by a gabled roof with two ridge stacks.
