Description
Corner Common Farmhouse is an early 18th-century farmhouse constructed of brick and flint, topped with a thatched roof. The building has two storeys. The north bay is made of flint and features one 20th-century casement window on each floor, along with a blocked doorway. The south side has two 20th-century segmental-headed doors and two casement windows on each floor, arranged in an irregular pattern. The windows are from the 19th or 20th century. The roof is gabled, with gable heads supported on kneelers and internal gable end stacks; the stack on the south side was rebuilt in 1983. The south gable head has several blocked windows and shows signs of patchy rebuilding. Inside, the south room contains a chamfered bridging beam with rolled jewel stops, and the beams at the cornice also have identical stops.
