Description
Nos 19 and 21 on High Street are early 19th-century buildings that stand two stories tall. They are finished in stucco that has been lined and painted. The first floor features four near-flush frame sash windows, which now only have central glazing bars. There is an arched passage on the left side at ground level. The entrances have six-panel doors with panelled reveals, leading to wooden cases that include fluted pilasters and a flat cornice. Three wide ground floor sash windows also have cambered heads and now feature central glazing bars only. The buildings have a plinth and are topped with a pantile roof. Nos 5 and 7, Ancillary Buildings, and Nos 19 to 23 (odd) along with the Arms House create a group value context.
