Description
Grove Cottage is a range of three early 19th century cottages that have been converted into two. The building is constructed from flint cobbles, featuring red brick window and door dressings, quoins, and a brick dentil eaves course. It has a low-pitched pantile roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. The facade includes five widely spaced windows, which are three-light casements with leaded panes. The ground floor doorways and windows have cambered heads. At the north-west end, there is a wing that was originally a separate cottage but is now part of Grove Cottage, forming a T-shape in plan. This wing has similar elevations and three windows, along with brick chimney stacks.
