Description

The houses at 22 and 24 King’s Arms Street are a two-storey building dating to the 19th century. They are constructed of limewashed brick, laid in a Flemish bond pattern, and have a Dutch-gabled roof. A moulded brick band runs across both houses at the level of the first storey.

Number 22 has a 19th-century wooden shop front on the ground floor, featuring an arched two-light window and a partly glazed entrance door. The first floor has a wooden framed casement window with three smaller fixed lights above a transom and three two-light casements below. A small lattice leaded window is also present on the first floor.

Number 24 has an eight-light window on the ground floor and a doorway that originally had a pediment, now lost. The first floor windows are identical to those of number 22.

Numbers 20 to 26 (even) and 30 to 34 (even) King’s Arms Street form a group with 2 Park Lane.
