Description

The undercroft at St Andrews Cottage is a medieval structure located in Worstead. It is built of brick and plaster and features three irregular bays. The design includes pilasters that support transverse arches, and it has a quadripartite brick vault with chamfered brick ribs. The entrance is now from the road, and there is evidence of stairs leading to the house above in the first bay. Additionally, the third bay shows the bases of later chimneys.
