Description
The Old Rectory is an 18th-century house located on Church Street in Gimingham. It is constructed of brick and flint, topped with a glazed black pantile roof and has a rectangular plan. The facade features five bays and two storeys, with 19th-century sash windows that have single vertical glazing bars set under flat rubbed brick arches. A central porch, which has been restored, includes pillars with pilaster responds, a plain cornice, and a pediment. The building has a wooden dentil eaves cornice and two axial stacks. The left-hand gable wall shows some flint at the base, and there are two tripartite sashes with horns, along with a platband and two attic casements. The rear wall is made of flint.
