Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory house built around 1820. It features stuccoed brick construction and has slated roofs. The building is two storeys high with a three-bay entrance front and a four-bay return facade. The entrance front has two ground floor and three first floor sash windows with glazing bars, a central six-panel door with four glazed panels, and a three-light rectangular fanlight above. The entrance is framed by simple architraves and moulded reveals, with simple end pilaster strips and rounded corners. The return facade, which faces the garden, includes four ground floor and four first floor sash windows with glazing bars, end pilasters, and a central pilaster. The roof has a wooden modillion eaves cornice and is hipped, featuring three gault brick stacks. Inside, there is a central staircase with an apsed well and a saucer dome on the first floor, which has a top light.
