Description

Nos 4 and 6 Church Plain is an early 19th-century building that stands two stories tall and is constructed of red brick. It features a toothed eaves band and has two flush frame sash windows on the first floor, which include glazing bars and flat arches, along with a central blank panel. The central entrance is arched and set within an arched panel, leading to a four-panel door topped by a radial bar fanlight. To the left of the entrance is another flush frame sash window with glazing bars, and to the right is a casement window. Additionally, there is a small added entrance on the return side of No 4, which also has a four-panel door and fanlight. Nos 4 and 6, along with Nos 20 and 26, form a group.
