Description
Nos. 74 and 75 on Norfolk Street in King's Lynn are a mid-18th century shop and flats. The building is constructed of brick and features a pantiled roof. It stands two storeys high with five first-floor bays. The shopfront, added in the mid-20th century, includes a panelled door on either side, each sheltered by hoods supported by acanthus consoles and topped with overlights, leading to the original flats above. The first floor has five sash windows set in flush frames, featuring glazing bars and gauged skewback arches. The roof is gabled with a central ridge stack that has been rebuilt, along with an internal gable-end stack on the west side. At the rear, there is a large catslide roof covering a two-storey outshut, along with a small gabled cross wing. The building has aluminium and uPVC windows.
