Description
Stable Court, built in 1873, is possibly designed by Frederick Preedy. It features random coursed squared carstone and red brick tiled roofs, showcasing a High Victorian Gothic style. The building consists of a two-storey tripartite central section flanked by single-storey wings, forming a stable court to the north. The central area has a brick arch, a three-light window, and a gable with a datestone. A cupola with a clock is situated above. On either side of the central section, there are three-light windows, with gabled two-light semi-dormers above. The roof is adorned with ridge tiles and has two end stacks. The single-storey wings have hipped roofs, with the northern wing featuring a sash window topped with a semi-dormer gabled head.
