Description

The building is a dovecote, possibly dating from the 18th century, located at the Old Rectory in Incham on the south side of High Street. It is constructed from carstone, clunch, reused ashlar, and features brick coping. The dovecote has a circular plan and has been reduced from two storeys to one. It likely incorporates materials from the demolished church of St. Michael. The exterior includes a square door with an ashlar architrave and a piece of inserted lozenge tracery above it. The interior is plain, with the exception of a row of joist holes that indicate where the first floor once was.
