Description

The entrance gate and gate piers, located 130 metres northeast of Ingoldisthorpe Hall, date from around 1830. They are made of cast iron and consist of a pair of rectangular piers featuring diamond pattern lattices with quatrefoils, topped with domical caps and acorn finials. The gates include lower speared dog-rails and two opposed segmental stretchers with a central roundel, along with upper speared rails. These structures are included for their group value with Ingoldisthorpe Hall.
