Description
Glebe Farmhouse is a farmhouse with an attached cottage located in North Creake, dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of Flemish bond red brick and features red pantiled roofs. The farmhouse is two storeys high with attics and consists of three bays. On the ground floor, there are two wooden framed casement cross windows beneath flat rubbed brick arch heads. The first floor has three two-light casements under flat soldier arches. The central entrance has a boarded door with a two-light overdoor, which is set beneath a cambered rubbed brick arch. The roof includes three flat-roofed two-light casement dormers. Additional architectural details include a dentil eaves cornice, brick coped parapets, and header bond on the north and south gables, along with two end stacks.
The attached cottage to the south is constructed from clunch and flint with brick dressings and also has a red pantiled roof. It is a single storey with attics and features two two-light casements and two boarded doors. The cottage has a dentil eaves cornice, a single two-light wedge roofed dormer, and one central stack.
