Description

The table tomb located in the southwest corner of St. Clement's Churchyard dates from the mid-18th century and is made of limestone. It has a rectangular shape with a moulded plinth. The flanks feature fielded inscription panels, though the inscriptions are now illegible. At each end, there are pairs of gadrooned piers topped with an egg and dart cornice that supports the moulded top slab. On the west side, the piers frame a fielded panel, while the south side includes a re-used late medieval carved cherub set within a niche.
