Description
Trinity Hall is a house built around 1600, which was re-roofed in 1880 and restored and altered in 1950. The building is constructed of brick and has a slate roof, featuring a half H-shaped plan and two storeys. The west facade has three central bays flanked by single bay projecting cross gables. There is a roll moulded set-off at the first floor across the entire facade, and a gabled porch added in 1950. The windows include one casement on each side and three on the first floor, all of which are iron casements from 1950. Each gable end has one window per floor, with similar casements. The gable heads are supported by moulded brick kneelers. The roofs are gabled, with the main range having a ridge stack positioned to the right of centre. The cross wings project to the rear and both feature tumbling in heads. There are two ridge stacks on the south wing and one on the north wing. The fenestration and details are from the 20th century. Internally, there is enough evidence to indicate that the house originally had a through passage plan. A solar winder stairwell remains in the north wing, although the stairs have been renewed. The lounge features a jewel stopped spine beam and joists.
