Description

The memorial to Clement Trotter is located against the southwest buttress of the porch of the Church of Holy Trinity and All Saints in Winterton. It dates from 1686 and is made of limestone. The headstone features a rectangular sunk inscription panel with a semi-circular top. The border of this panel is decorated with ogival billet mouldings and is set within a rectangular field, where the edges have incised floral trails. The top corners of the headstone are concave chamfered.
